Why dry cut?
Many of you have the same question, Why dry cut?
Cutting dry gives the potential to sense where I can eliminate bulk and heaviness or add fullness and volume. When deciding length, dry cutting means I’m able to cut just the right amount of hair resulting in less miscommunication between me and the client.
Dry cut enables me to be more precise with split ends where they are clearly visible when dry as opposed to how they disappear into the hair when wet.
Dry Cut is perfect for those who wear their curls, however, this is not suitable for those who flat iron often.
One of the most important questions I ask is, how often do you flat iron your hair, so I can adapt the cut to your needs?
Do you get your hair cut wet or dry? No right or wrong answer, let me know in the comments.
